Disaster preparedness and recovery

In the event of a serious hardware failure that will take significant time to repair, all dedicated server customers are given the benefit of our inventory of spare fail-over hardware. GCIS can also provide failover data migration services for the dedicated web server in the event of a system hardware problem. Customer data is backed up nightly to LTO cartridges and stored offsite in a fireproof container. Backups are tested weekly to verify usability. GCIS Technicians are well practiced in data recovery.
